Solutions Workshops Session One

The New Business Agility World with Cloud, NFV, SDN, and Network-as-a-Service
Communications service providers are heading towards an important landscape change where business, operations, and network agility will unite to deliver to the ever-increasing customer expectations of near-real-time service creation and control, to the likes provided by cloud application providers such as Amazon and RackSpace. This can be enabled with new technologies including infrastructure data centers, network function virtualization (NFV), software-defined networking (SDN), intelligent and agile orchestration frameworks, and new customer experience applications, coupled with the requirement for an overhaul of many of today's typical service provider management practices. Security
Security has been a hot topic in the media for the last few years, fueled by demonstrations at numerous hacker conferences. With this attention comes a lot of confusion over solutions to the problem, and a lot of hype from new vendors seeking to take advantage of all the noise. The reality is many service providers already have the tools they need to prevent security breaches. Oracle Communications customers with our DSR, EAGLE STP, SBC, or Services Gatekeeper have an advantage because they already have the platform to mitigate any attacks based on current vulnerabilities. This session will look into what other Oracle Communications customers are doing to stop the threat, and what platforms they are using to accomplish this.
Solutions Workshops Session Two

VoLTE, VoWiFi, and WebRTC Solutions Workshop
This session presents the Oracle Communications IMS infrastructure for launching services such as VoLTE and VoWiFi and delivering the next level of customer experience with WebRTC. This session focuses on the recommended solution architecture, key product features and capabilities, and cross product capabilities that are important when launching these services.
Convergent Charging and Policy
As service providers deploy increasingly powerful policy management and convergent charging capabilities, the requirement for smooth, flexible, and innovative integration between these systems increases. In this session, solution domain experts will discuss recent product features that contribute to efficient and feature-rich integration. Additionally, several use case examples (for example, fair usage, top-ups, time-period and application-specific policies, and more) will be presented with information on design, implementation, and marketability. In this session you'll also learn about the tight integration of Oracle Communications Policy Management and Oracle Revenue Management suite in your network.
