Mark is a Cloud Alliance Architect at Check Point. He delivers solutions that integrate the Check Point Infinity Architecture Products with Cloud Technologies from Network Protection to Kubernetes Container Protection to SASE and SD-WAN.

Sherwood has over 35 years of software engineering experience. He has traveled to numerous countries across six continents helping customers with their enterprise distributed systems. For the past three years he has been working with Kubernetes and service mesh products. He has delivered numerous cloud-native workshops in Latin America, North America, and Europe. He is currently a product manager for Oracle. He is part of the Developer Cloud Adoption team assisting customers with their move to cloud-native technologies. When Sherwood is not spending his time coding and working with customers he can be found riding his horse Charlie as a member of the county’s mounted patrol unit.
