Join Oracle and IDC to learn how organizations can make the most of their digital investments

Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) has always benefited from a strong, local industrial base and a skilled workforce. But new competitive threats to local industry brought about by rapid innovations in IT from around the world are forcing executives in the region to reconsider the importance of digital strategies for the long-term survival of their organizations, and the competitiveness of the region overall.

In a recent IDC survey conducted on behalf of Oracle, ‘data management’ solutions ranked number one among respondents in CEE when they were asked to identify which technologies could help them achieve their broader strategic goals and priorities. Still, many organizations in the region are struggling to get the full value out of their digital investments due to complex and siloed data infrastructure, and an existing IT infrastructure that is not sufficiently scalable and responsive to business needs.

Please join IDC and Oracle as we discuss how organizations can better realize the value of their digital investments and compete in the digital economy by leveraging advancements in data management infrastructure, cloud technology, and data analytics.

We look forward to sharing insights into:
  • How organizations can put data at the center of their operations and build an “Intelligent Core.”
  • The importance of ridding the organization of “technical debt.”
  • How hybrid cloud technology is making IT infrastructure more agile and responsive to the operational and security needs of organizations.
  • How decision makers in finance departments, sales and marketing, operations and HR are using data analytics to support their organizations.
  • How new and innovative digital use cases are helping organizations compete in the digital economy.

Join IDC Associate Vice President for Research & Consulting Joshua Budd as he highlights current and future trends impacting IT strategies in CEE, combining global best practices with recent research conducted in countries across CEE including Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Croatia.
