Workshop 1: DB Security - Database Assessment Tool
This workshop is a mini-lab within the FIRST PART of the Hands-On Labs dedicated to the Oracle Database Security features and functionalities. This workshop introduces the functionality of Oracle Database Security Assessment Tool (DBSAT). The Oracle Database Security Assessment Tool (DBSAT) helps identify sensitive data, analyzes database configurations, users, their entitlements and security policies to uncover security risks and improve the security posture of Oracle Databases within your organization. You can use DBSAT to implement and enforce security best practices in your organization and accelerate compliance with regulations such as the EU GDPR. This workshop gives the user an opportunity to learn how to use this feature to assess all the security components of a database.

Andrei started working with the Oracle Database since 9i firstly as a developer, learning Oracle Forms and Reports on the way. Later Andrei changed the role to being a DBA for most of his career managing 9i, 10g, 11g, and 12c databases. Taking the step to a presales position or later a post-sales position got him closer to the Oracle Cloud and the database family services there.
Now Andrei am a member of the Product Management Database Platform Technology Solutions team helping partners and customers understand more the Oracle Database in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
