Exadata Operations: A look at Exadata Health and Pre-Patching

Exadata offers feature rich toolsets like the Autonomous Health Frame Work and Exawatcher. During this presentation we will walk you through how these tools can be best deployed, executed and made sense of on an Exadata using a couple of demos. We will generate some graphs from the raw data and interpret it.

Being up to date on your engineered systems is paramount in todays world with multitude of security concerns. Oracle provides various methods to keep your Exadata up to date. We will look at what pre-checks must be run and what documents must be reviewed during a patch-planning event. A good plan is half the battle won for a successful patching event.
