Everything you need to know about the new Personal Data Protection Law

On 13 July 2020, the Egyptian government issued Law No. 151 of 2020 for personal data protection, which comes as the first of its kind in the history of the country’s legislative history to address the protection of citizens and residents’ personal data.

Companies collecting and handling personal data in Egypt will need to consider and manage their data handling practices and use cases more carefully than ever before.
