In this session we will highlight customer reference architectures: mapping Opera product capabilities to customer capabilities, typical customer logical architecture, integrations and how to leverage OHIP platform and APIs. Many customers continue to use legacy SOAP integrations, certificate based authentication/security which makes it tough to upgrade, take advantage of more modern REST integrations and OAuth security. We will discuss how legacy interfaces can be replaced with more secure OAuth and REST based interfaces. We will also highlight extensibility of OHIP platform and being able to create custom logic and orchestrations for customers.
Using OHIP also opens the possibility of different integration patterns: request-reply, messaging, event based to serve different integration needs. Both OHIP and customer API platforms when connected, can leverage security, SLA management, throttling and other features. Caching mechanisms and GraphQL can enhance performance and scalability.
