Mike has over 35 years of software engineering experience. The majority of that time has been spent working for Oracle. His last 13 years has been spent working on embedded databases in various capacities. During the last 4 years, he has had a dual role as the Director of Product Management for Oracle NoSQL as well as the managing the storage engine development team for the product. He regularly works with customers interested in either the on-premise or cloud NoSQL product. When not spending his time on NoSQL, he can be found enjoying the many outdoor activities Colorado has to offer and occasional in his woodworking shop.
