Luis Weir is a Director of Product Management for Integration & APIs at Oracle Hospitality. Prior to joining Oracle, Luis was with Capgemini UK, serving as the CTO for the Oracle Practice and also as a global API Champion. During this time, he helped many flag-ship customers define and execute their global API strategies as well as implement multiple Oracle Cloud technologies to address a variety of integration and cloud-native needs.Luis is a former Oracle Ace Director and Groundbreaker Ambassador, specializing in integration and APIs. He is the author of many articles and white papers and has authored 4 books on the topic –including the popular title Enterprise API Management (July 2019). Luis holds an MS in Systems Integrations from Universitat Politecnica de Valencia and a BS in Electronics Engineering from UNE.

He is the founder of the Oracle Integration and Developer Partner Communities, and the global Oracle Partner Advisory Councils. The PaaS & Middleware Partner Community is home to over 6,000 members internationally as Oracle’s most active and successful community, which Jürgen manages with monthly newsletters, webcasts, and conferences. He also hosts the annual PaaS & Middleware Partner Community Forums and PaaS & Middleware Summer Camps, where hundreds of partners receive product updates, roadmap insights, and hands-on training supplemented by a variety of Web 2.0 tools like Twitter, discussion forums, online communities, blogs, and wikis.
