Archie Gleave is a Programme Director at SSCL, where Archie leads major transformation programmes working with suppliers, clients and internal teams to define and deliver the agreed objectives. Archie led the SSCL government IT function, and defined the IT Strategy for SSCL Government including the migration of the core ERP systems supporting SSCL business to the cloud. Archie has worked in senior delivery roles for KPMG, Xansa, T-Systems and SSCL. Delivering services and programmes for clients such as Apple, American Express, AXA, Ford, Lloyds Bank, NHS, Pfizer, VW and since 2014 central UK Government with SSCL. His wealth of experience in both private and public sectors enables him to deliver complex programmes of work that deliver tangible benefit to clients.

Steve began his career as an accountant at Npower, and has served as a business consultant on a number of retail and public sector transformation programmes. Before joining Government Shared Services, he was Head of Architecture, at UK Shared Business Services.
He leads a small team of enterprise and solution architects who oversee the roadmaps and projects in three areas of GBS; Advice and guidance to departments on the technical implementation of shared service policies, the Cabinet Office framework obligations for ISSC2/SSCL architecture and its systems such as ‘SOP’, including the move to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and the strategic roadmaps for the cross government application and platforms for Civil Service Learning, Government Recruitment Services and Pensions.
