In this workshop, we will show how to migrate a PostgreSQL database to an Oracle Autonomous Database.

Oracle GoldenGate for PostgreSQL will be used as our main migration tool in combination with GoldenGate Microservices for our target Database.

This Instructor led workshop will last approx. 90mins and you will be provided a free Oracle cloud environment to use on the day.

Objectives:

Explore Cloud-Shell, a web-based terminal
Utilise OCI Terraform Provider
Explore OCI compute service
Migrate a PostgreSQL database to Autonomous Transaction Processing database
Explore Autonomous Database and its capabilities
