Running on the customer satisfaction treadmill, in the pursuit of convenient and persuasive propositions, the business world understands that competitive advantage can’t come from technology alone.
Businesses should build social competence to understand and react to the customers’ new expectations. This means stepping up customer centricity game by displaying empathetic behavior in a “digital by default” convenience world. It involves creating new social capital by building communities of trust. And, not the least, it involves staying true to their purpose to give a reason for people to follow them.
