Simon Caruso has over 25 years in the IT industry, holding various roles ranging from Developer,
Professional Services, Technical Team Lead, Senior Consulting, Enterprise Architect and Data
Center Practice Manager. Simon has worked for end-user customers, system integrators and
start-up’s and primarily focused on the Federal Government and Public Sector market in
Australia.
Simon started at VMware in early 2006 and is a seasoned passionate professional focused on
delivering outcomes and customer advocacy. Simon is a thought leader across multiple
technologies and a champion for adopting new ways of working. Simon thoroughly enjoys
working closely with his customers by understanding business issues and identifying innovative,
creative solutions that deliver significant value. Simon has been directly involved and led several
large digital and cloud transformation initiatives within Federal Government.

With over 30 years of experience in Information, Infrastructure and Business Transformation, Scott has been actively engaged in delivering customer oriented solutions throughout Asia-Pacific and in North and South America, spanning Finance, Telecommunications, and Utilities.
At Oracle, Scott and his team engage at strategic layers within our customers and business partners to discuss enterprise-wide Cloud options that are in line with their business goals. In addition, his solution engineering team collaborate with the account teams and Oracle partners to assist customers that are navigating from legacy footprints to realise digital transformation and the path to information driven outcomes.
Scott joined Oracle in 2001 as part of the team to establish OracleDirect Asia Pacific and has since contributed to further transformative initiatives aimed at driving scale, agility and business growth locally and across Asia Pacific. A key leader in Oracle’s shift to cloud in this region, Scott speaks frequently on Oracle’s strategy and vision.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from UTS.

Urbano Criola, is passionate about driving value from vmware technology in the service provider space currently Senior Solution Engineer within the VMware cloud provider business, focused on helping Service providers with thought leadership , architectural and service creation opportunities to bring new services to market, and help customers adopt new service offerings.
Having come from one of the ANZ largest service providers before joining vmware, where he led the design of a next generation cloud platform and initial service offerings.
Urbano Criola was also the lead architect in transitioning one of Australia’s largest infrastructure provider’s to a cloud model, understanding the challenges in this transition from a technical and business operations perspective.
