He is an innovation-driven IT professional with experience in developing software, designing data processing and analytic applications, and developing/customizing new software functionality. His current role at Oracle entails participating in customer engagements to collaboratively gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions.

Ramy Nassar Is an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Product Manager, covering Middle East and Africa responsible for delivering a differentiated product to market that addresses a market need and represents a viable business opportunity and ensuring that the product supports the customers overall strategy and goals.

In his previous role as MEA Customer Success Manager, He played a central role, up front and over the course of the client relationship. Ramy had several responsibilities, but chief among them is to establish and then sustain a strong relationship with customers. He played an integral role in helping build and sustain a solid, trusting relationship with the client’s key contacts responsible for ensuring that the customer gets to the right people within the organization, and that they ultimately have their questions answered, issues resolved and needs addressed. He was the initial point of contact and take the lead on providing assistance to the customers.

Jako has 30 years of experience in the IT industry, with experience form Networking (15 years), Oracle Systems (9 years) and Oracle technology (last 4 years).

He has designed and managed the implementation of these systems for numerus customers during his time at Oracle. Lately he is focusing on moving customers to the Oracle cloud.

Tim Graves is a Cloud Native and open-source solutions architect working for Oracle as part of the Europe, Middle East and Africa team. He joined Oracle as part of the Sun Microsystems acquisition in 2010 having initially started at Sun in 1989.

He has been working on Cloud projects in Oracle since 2011 in the communications, Java and cloud teams.

In addition to Cloud Native Tim has worked in many parts of Sun and Oracle in the areas of operating systems, IoT, security, Java, and storage in field and headquarters roles.

When not working with computers Tim is a keen skier and an unprofessional chef.

Sid is a Director for EMEA OCI Centre of Excellence focusing on Application Development at Oracle. Sid is a passionate technologist and always keen on learning and sharing ideas. Sid has 16+ years of experience in Information Technology. Covering various roles such as Application Developer, Product Specialist, Sales Specialist, Delivery / Programme Manager to Enterprise / Solution Architect. Prior to his current role he used to cover breadth and depth of technology stack from On-Prem to Cloud, from Tradition App Dev, Integration to Cloud Native and Innovative technologies such as Blockchain and Digital Assistants. he rephrased a Heraclitus Quote - ‘There is 1 thing constant in IT that is Change’ – Keep Evolving and Growing

Dr. Avinash Ramtohul has 24 years working experience in the IT industry in Africa including 15 years with Oracle in Middle East and Africa. He is presently the Managing Director for Oracle in Mauritius and Leader for Solution Engineering across Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. In parallel, Avinash was leading the local Micros team between 2015 and 2017.

He has various academic publications and has presented several research papers in International Conferences, covering e-government, information security, e-learning and Leadership/Change Management. He has also published his work in respected International Journals. His Doctoral Thesis focused on Government Service Digitisation in the African context. He is author of various thought leadership articles in the field of Digital Transformation.

Dr Ramtohul is a keynote speaker at regional conferences on Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence and Information Security.

Dr. Ramtohul holds a PhD, Graduate Diploma in Law, MBA, MSc and BSc from University of Mauritius, University of Central Lancashire- UK, University of Bristol-UK and University of Pune, India, respectively. His Doctoral Thesis specialises in Information Security for E-Government. Dr. Ramtohul is Chartered Manager (Chartered Management Institute, UK), Chartered IT Professional (Chartered Institute for IT) and a part-time faculty member of University of Technology, Mauritius. He is currently pursuing law studies with the University of Central Lancashire, UK.
