Mike Dietrich is based in Bavaria, Germany and has almost thirty years experience in the information technology industry. He has spent 24 years at Oracle Corporation where he held senior and management roles in both the sales and support before joining the Oracle's Database Development organization. For over a decade he is the Distinguished Product Manager for Database Upgrade and Migrations.
In his role, Mike is responsible for evangelizing, influencing and demonstrating Oracle technology solutions related to database upgrades, migrations and consolidation to Oracle customers and partners worldwide. Besides that he works consistently with customers in key reference projects, both onsite and remotely. He has become a patching specialist, troubleshoots upgrade and migration issues. and delivers technical workshops between Arctic and Antarctic. Furthermore he's an experienced conference speaker. Rodrigo Jorge is a Senior Principal Product Manager and OCM Certified Oracle Professional (12c, 11g, MAA & Cloud), security-enthusiastic DBA and Ex ACE Director, with more than 15 years of industrial experience in Oracle high end technologies, since Oracle RDBMS version 8i. He has been involved with multi platform High Availability Solutions as well as complex multiple nodes RAC implementations on AIX, Linux, Solaris and HPUX. He has experience in deploying disaster recovery solutions compliant to Oracle MAA.
As a former employee of Ipiranga, Capgemini, IBM, Amdocs and Accenture Enkitec Group, providing services to hundreds of companies, acted in several projects for enabling high availability RAC/DG systems to support ERP, CRM, HRMS e MRP, end to end performance tuning, backup and disaster recovery solutions and maximum security to name a few. Presently he is working as a Oracle Senior Product Manager in the Upgrades, Migrations, Patching & Utilities team.
