Dr. Zarkos has teaching and research interests in the areas of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Capital Budgeting, Real Options, Management Accounting and Strategy. His research focuses on new applications of real options in management decision making and the development of decision techniques that can be used to solve various problems encountered in Corporate Finance and Strategy literature. Recent examples of his research include the utilization of real option theory in selecting the optimal product mix under conditions of production constraints and demand uncertainty, and the use of real options in comparing mutually exclusive special orders with unequal lives. Dr. Zarkos has previously taught the subject of Financial Markets and Institutions at the Manchester School of Management and became a certified lecturer after successful completion of the teaching training program offered by the staff development unit of University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. Dr. Zarkos has undertaken consulting work in the financial services sector and produced several market reports for various business sectors of the Greek economy. He is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and is also a regular member of accreditation committees for EFMD.

Androniki Triantafylli received her PhD with Distinction from Athens University of Economics and Business. She also holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Prior to joining ALBA, she has worked for Queen Mary Business School as an Associate Professor in accounting, she was a lecturer in management accounting at Manchester Business School, and a post-doctoral lecturer at ESSEC Business School in Paris.
Androniki has had worked as a consultant and visiting professor for the London Metropolitan University, The University of Essex (Essex Business School), Amity University (India), the University of Glasgow (Adam Smith Business School), University of Peiraeus (Department of Banking and Finance), Brunel University London (Business School). She is the Accounting Convenor for the Global M.B.A at the University of London.
Androniki has worked as an external auditor for PWC, as a Consultant for the Ministry of Health (Greece) and as a consultant for the National Bank of Greece.
Androniki's current research interests are concentrated to the use of management control systems as practices with application of a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches, especially in the services sector. Areas of particular interest include performance measurement and management, processes of management accounting change and the changing nature of management accounting practices and their impact within business organizations.
Androniki has a particular interest in ESG reporting as part of the CSR practices of private companies. Androniki undertakes research on corporate governance and is a consultant on governance issues for the Greek government
