Build a MicroProfile Application and Run it in Verrazzano's Multi-Cloud Container Management Platform
In this workshop, we will provide an introductory level hands-on session using Helidon microservices and Verrazzano, Oracle’s enterprise container management platform. We will demonstrate how to make and assemble MicroProfile services and deploy them on Verrazzano. Additionally, we will show you how to install Helidon’s command line interface tools and develop an HTTP microservices application by setting up Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Easily follow along using the Oracle Cloud Free Tier account which enables you to explore how to run and operate enterprise-grade microservices. The goal of this workshop is to provide you with the foundation and fundamentals of using Helidon and Verrazzano and understand how this software technology can help you with your existing projects.
