Introducing the Oracle Applications Platform

Oracle App Platform

No matter how complete our suite of applications, there’s always something specific to your business that you’d like to add. When these situations arise, our goal is to empower you to quickly and easily create applications and extensions that work seamlessly with your Fusion Apps products.

Say hello to the Oracle Applications Platform

For a long time we’ve made it possible for you to configure and extend Fusion Applications to meet the needs of your business, but this is different. We recently announced the Oracle Applications Platform, which lets you create your own consumer-grade, enterprise applications with the very same Redwood design system and tools that we use to build Fusion Applications. With access to the same capabilities we use to create Fusion Applications, your apps will feel, behave, and integrate in the same way.

What’s in it?

Help your enterprise apps developers work better by leveraging the systems, tools, and components we’ve already put in place, specifically:

• Redwood UX building blocks: A software development toolkit with UX resources such as the Redwood reference application, page templates, component repository, reference architecture, and design guides.

• Telemetry: Components embedded within the UX and integrated with DevSecOps tools that help generate real-world feedback, quickly resolve issues, and inform further improvements.

• Search: Powerful, self-tuning search capabilities with AI-enabled suggestion strings and typo-tolerant text search; it preserves learned suggestions across devices.

• Business logic: A self-learning recommendation engine that serves up the most likely data input or next action based on user behavior history, which you can use to create predictive user experiences.

• Conversational experiences: Embedded Oracle Digital Assistant components that are simple to use and that promote desired user behaviors within the apps, including the ability to integrate voice interfaces.

• Low-code development: Oracle's Visual Builder Studio enables customers and partners to extend their Redwood apps or build new ones without the need for complex software development skills.

• Data visualization: Redwood analytics components from Oracle Analytics Cloud allow you to easily embed data visualizations within your custom apps.

Who should use it?

If you’re an enterprise apps developer or SI, these services are for you. They help anyone in need of modern, performant applications that interface with Oracle Fusion Apps.

How much does it cost?

There is no charge. It comes with your Fusion Apps subscription.
