Live Conferences are Back!
|
|
The Java Developer Relations team at Oracle is back on the road again. April saw the return of in-person conferences, with DevNexus and DevoxxFR hosting events, with yours truly giving a presentation on How Amber is Driving Java's Evolution at DevNexus. Project Amber, if you are unfamiliar, is one of the OpenJDK projects delivering new language features to Java including pattern matching, Records, Sealed Classes, and more!
While we have adapted to a largely virtual world over the last two years, in-person conferences remain vital to the Java community. Conferences provide an opportunity to meet new people, share ideas, and collaborate with friends and colleagues, and that was true to my experience at DevNexus this year. I hope to see you in-person at a conference in the near future!

Last month we announced that JavaOne was back, now this month it's Java Day that's being re-introduced. This is a welcome trend for the developer community.
Oracle's Java Developer Relations Team is excited to re-introduce Java Day. By partnering with a local Java User Group (JUG) near you, you'll have the opportunity to hear from Oracle's Java experts to evolve and advance your programming skills. If you're a JUG leader, please contact us to discuss a Java Day event. If travel schedules align, we'll bring Java Day to one of your future in-person JUG meet-ups with experts and giveaways.
