Applications often operate on a diverse set of data (spatial, documents, sensor, transactional, etc.) pulled from multiple different sources. To help businesses make faster, more informed decisions, you need a database that converges multiple data models and workloads into a single database.
- First you will learn how to store relational and JSON data in native format to obtain great performance. With the power of SQL, you learn how easy is to run analytical queries and reports combining both data types.
- Later, we will show you how you can use MongoDB programs and applications to connect to Autonomous Database, using the Oracle Database API for MongoDB. This will also show how you can swap between 'document database' and relational SQL views of the same data.
- We will provide comprehensive information about Property Graph Data Model as well as how it is implemented in Oracle Database. We will discuss not only the specific data model but also different APIs, which can use it: SQL, Java and Python, therefore it can be useful not only to developers but also to data scientists as well as business users
- Finally, you will explore how to store, process, query and analyze spatial data along with that we will explore mapping in Oracle APEX using the Map Region feature and Oracle Spatial.
This session will explain the above tools in a short presentation and will then demonstrate live how you can use the tools in practice. We’ll also guide you to hands-on labs to try out things for yourself.
