Jean-René (JR) Gauthier is a product manager working on the Oracle AI Data Platform. Previously, JR was a product lead on various AI products in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including OCI Data Science, Generative AI, and GenAI Agents services. Before joining Oracle, JR worked at DataScience.com, where he designed the platform's model management features and was also a data scientist at AuriQ Systems, where he focused on adtech analytics and data engineering—often involving high-speed processing of massive data sets. He holds a PhD in astrophysics from the University of Chicago and was a Millikan fellow at Caltech.
