Next-Level OCI: Enhancing Developer Productivity with CI Compose, OCDK, and VS Code

This session walks through a developer-first, cloud-native workflow on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You’ll see how to run CI on multi-container instances using the open-source CI Compose project, automate OCI Functions with OCDK (an npm-based tool inspired by AWS CDK), and use a Visual Studio Code extension for OCI DevOps that supports Node.js and Java Spring Boot.

The goal is to share practical, developer-friendly patterns that simplify automation, streamline delivery, and improve the day-to-day developer experience on OCI—while sparking ideas attendees can apply to their own tooling and workflows.
