Mastercard adds New Bank Identification Number (BIN) Range

REQUIRED ACTIONS

  • Option #1: Update existing Oracle Hospitality e7, Oracle Hospitality RES 3700 and Oracle Hospitality OPERA deployments with the 2-series BIN range for MasterCard by January 2017. If your Oracle Hospitality OPERA is in the cloud this configuration has been taken care of for you in OPERA.
  • Option #2: Customers may execute a consulting sales order to update their configuration. Please use the Request a Quote button on this site to proceed with this type of engagement.

System Configuration Changes

In most cases, adding 2-series BIN range will only require a minor configuration change that takes a few minutes and will have no effect on business operations. In a few cases, a software update is required before the system will accept the new BIN range.

The Customer Experience Center (CEC) located in the Columbia, Maryland office is a beautiful new space that is specifically designed to host Oracle Hospitality customer meetings.
