Opportunity Corridor is a $331M transportation investment being implemented by the Ohio Department of Transportation to improve access and mobility, and support economic development in the City of Cleveland. The multimodal urban arterial roadway will connect Cuyahoga County’s southern and western interstate systems with Cleveland’s east-side University Circle neighborhood - home to world class medical, educational, and cultural institutions. The new roadway is being developed to support City led redevelopment efforts for hundreds of acres of land within economically depressed, low income, minority neighborhoods. The presentation will provide an overview of the unique planning, environmental, design and construction phases of the
project, since its inception in the early 2000’s and how they are leveraging Oracle solutions for project efficiency.

How GDOT uses Primavera (P6) to Monitor Project Schedules

Dallas Ballmer, Engineer, Louisana Department of Transportation and Development

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) is in the process of revising our CPM Specification – this happened to coincide with an opportunity to transition from disparate stand-alone P6 instances to a unified P6 Cloud instance. This did not come without grumbling from the old guard and required a touch of change management. On top of the upgrade we decided to work collaboratively with Oracle to create an uptake application which will automate a number of objective checks on schedules, freeing up our reviewers from checking some of the more tedious elements of a review and allowing more efficient and effective subjective checks. This presentation will describe the upgrade process and our collaborative work with Oracle.
