How Can You Use Oracle’s Maximum Availability Architecture to Accelerate Database Performance and Protect Critical Data?

The key goal of Oracle’s Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) is to optimize high availability, data protection, and disaster recovery for Oracle customers at the lowest cost and complexity. The MAA architecture is comprised of multiple layers, including processor, storage, software, and networking components. Many organizations are feeling pressure to move applications to the cloud. Organizations that move forward without due diligence will likely find the move to be troublesome and costly. Applications have many unique aspects, including compute, I/O, network and availability requirements. Security and SLA requirements need to be considered. This session will discuss a framework for deciding which applications should be prioritized to move to the cloud versus those that may be better upgraded or re-architected on premise.
