Attendees to the live broadcast may ask questions to the Oracle speakers who have significant depth of expertise on the topic.
Today’s corporate database environments are spanning both on-premise and the cloud. These databases typically consist of many different versions and are running on various types and generations of equipment. The complexity results in much of the administration team’s time being spent on troubleshooting issues instead of implementing new projects that could contribute to the growth and success of the enterprise.
As customers look at leveraging cloud to manage cost, improve manageability, and enable just-in-time scale, it's beneficial to also rationalize current deployments and put in place standard methods to classify and manage databases. This session will help you understand how to use Oracle Database consolidation to:
Reduce overall operational cost,
Maintain predictable performance,
Simplify overall resource management,
Maintain maximum availability,
Provide the security required for today’s complex environment.
