Biography: Sir Ben Ainslie is the most successful Olympic sailor of all time, having competed and medaled at five Olympic Games. In his debut at the 1996 Summer Olympics, he won a silver medal at the age of 19 and went on to establish himself as the world’s best competitor by winning consecutive gold medals at the next four Games (2000-2012).
Ainslie is now the team principal and skipper of Britain’s America’s Cup team. The team won the 2015-2016 Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series and in 2017, he led his British challenger to compete in the 35th America’s Cup in Bermuda. Ainslie continues to lead INEOS TEAM UK in its attempt to win the 36th America’s Cup in Auckland in 2021 while joining SailGP for its second season. With the fastest sail racing boats in the world, SailGP is the perfect platform for Ainslie to sharpen his racing skills.
Emily Nagel

Biography: While at the University of Southampton studying Engineering with Naval Architecture Emily Nagel specialized in High Performance Yacht and Small Craft with the intention of pursuing a career in the America's Cup. After leaving she moved home to Bermuda where I joined a Youth America's Cup team and began working for SoftBank Team Japan as part of the design and shore team. After the 2017 America’s Cup Emily was a sailor onboard team AkzoNobel in the 2017/2018 Volvo Ocean Race, and currently is the Data Analyst for SailGP Great Britain.
Chris Draper

Biography: Chris Draper serves as CEO for the Great Britain SailGP Team. He holds multiple world and European championship titles, as well as the bronze medal from the 2004 Olympic Games in the 49er class - in which he held the world No. 1 ranking for five consecutive years. He has led his team to wins on the Extreme Sailing Series and was involved in two America's Cup campaigns, first serving as a helmsman with Team Korea and then Italy’s Prada campaign in 2013, before going on to be the tactician/wing trimmer with SoftBank Team Japan for the 2017 cycle. During SailGP's inaugural season in 2019, in addition to his role as CEO of the British team, he also served as wing trimmer.
Warren Jones

Biography: Warren Jones is the Head of Technology at SailGP, which features the fastest and most technologically advanced sail race boats in the world. Jones works with global partner Oracle on innovative solutions for the remote broadcast production, data management and distribution, the award-winning SailGP APP, and Umpire App for race management. He also supports the event and office infrastructures both in London and New York, and at each of the global grand prix events. Prior to SailGP, Jones was head of information technology at the America’s Cup Event Authority and Oracle Racing.
