Oracle Application Express (APEX) is taught at numerous colleges and universities worldwide, and has proven to be a successful environment for educating students about many important concepts: data modeling, SQL, performance, user experience, security and more.
Almost every business application involves managing data, and Oracle database has long been known as the world-class environment for managing and securing data.
Oracle database also includes a FREE low-code application development framework which enables customers to quickly build modern, responsive, and beautiful applications. This hands-on workshops for student beginners and experienced developers as well as teachers offers every participant their own free APEX account. Just use your own laptop, request a free APEX account using the steps included here, complete the class, and earn a certificate of attendance.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Attendees MUST register for an Oracle APEX account prior to attending the course. Please use the steps below to register.
- Go to https://apex.oracle.com
- Click Get Started for Free
- Scroll down until you see details for apex.oracle.com. Click Request a Free Workspace
- On the Request a Workspace dialog, enter your Identification details – First Name, Last Name, Email, Workspace
{Note: For workspace enter a unique name, such as first initial and last name} - Click Next
- Complete the remaining wizard steps.

Check your email. You should get an email from Oracle application-express_ww@oracle.com within a few minutes.{Note: If you don’t receive an email, go back to Step 3 and ensure you’ve entered your correct email address.}
Within the email body, click Create Workspace. - Click Continue to Sign In Screen.
- Enter your password, and click Apply Changes.
- You should now be in the Oracle APEX Builder.
