Xavier Verhaeghe

As Vice-President of Technology Solutions for Oracle EMEA, Xavier Verhaeghe is responsible for developing business strategies, driving growth and thought leadership in the fast evolving Technology landscape.

His responsibilities include supporting Oracle EMEA’s customers who are undergoing digital transformations with defining the right technology driven innovation strategies and applying the right Cloud and On-Premise Technology solutions. These technologies cover Oracle’s leading data management solutions including in memory solutions, the full big data, fast data and IoT solutions, private and public cloud, security solutions and IT performance management tools. With more than 23 years of relevant experience, he is frequently asked to speak on these topics.

Since joining Oracle in 1999, Xavier has held different local and international executive positions in the technology and applications business units and has had the possibility to build a broad experience in different domains like business applications, big data, data management technology, business intelligence, middleware, security and Engineered Systems.

He was also Managing Director for Oracle Belgium and Luxembourg for 9 years. He joined Oracle from Accenture where he worked for six years.

He holds a Master Degree in Management Sciences and an MBA (Solvay Business School (Brussels, VUB)), and followed other education programs, including at the University of Chicago and the London Business School.

Alexander De Croo is Open-Vld Deputy Prime Minister in the Belgian Federal Cabinet. He is also Minister of Development Cooperation, Digital Agenda, Telecom and Postal Services. Before taking the office of deputy prime Minister, Alexander De Croo was Senator and party chairman of Open Vld, the Flemish liberal-democrats.

Graduated in Business Engineering (Solvay Business School, Brussels), Alexander De Croo completed an MBA at the Kellog School of Management (University of Chicago - United States), in 2004. Between 1999 and 2006, he was employed as a strategy consultant at The The Boston Consulting Group, one of the leading management consulting firms worldwide. In 2006, he founded his own company: Darts-IP, a consulting company in the field of intellectual property rights, which today operates throughout the world.

In 2009 he went into politics. He participated in the European elections and in December 2009 he was elected chairman of the Open Vld party. In 2012 he became Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Pensions in the Federal Government. In 2013 he became deputy chairman of the Global Agenda Council on Ageing within the World Economic Forum. Since tha year, he is also a member of the Global Agenda Council on Europe of the World Economic Forum.

Throughout his career, Guido has always had a healthy interest in topics concerning IT and business transformation as well as information security.

As Managing Director, Jan Ronsse is responsible for driving Oracle's operations, growth and profitability across the Belgian and Luxembourg regions. He ensures the implementation of Oracle's international strategy on a local level and the further development of synergies between the software, systems and services.

As Senior Sales Technology BeLux, Jan has overall responsibility for managing and leading Oracle's Technology sales teams.

Jan has been at Oracle since October 1996. where he held several management and leadership functions. After 4 years in account management and 6 years in sales management for multiple industries, he became Senior Sales Director Technology in 2005.

Prior to joining Oracle, Jan was Major Account Manager at Tulip Computers. Jan is married, has 3 children and enjoys playing golf and tennis.
