HCM World sessions feature insights, strategies, and real-world lessons in all areas of HR management. Learn from Oracle solution experts, our trusted partners, and companies successfully modernizing their businesses and making employee retention and engagement a priority. You'll return to work energized and motivated as you launch your own initiatives.
Sessions will focus on ideas and innovations used to modernize business, and how companies have made improvements that contribute to their bottom line, whether that is measured with financials or employee satisfaction ratings. Presenters will discuss the programs they've implemented, why they're new and on the cutting edge, and why they consider their company a modern HR organization. They'll also go over what they're doing that reflects current trends and market direction.
Speakers will describe their HR or employee programs that are out of the box, or that have moved away from standard practice to create positive and productive change. These experts are challenging their organizations to examine better or more effective ways to achieve their goals. They'll share how they have been change agents for increasing employee engagement and keeping people focused on making their business the best it can be. You'll hear about their experiences with thinking differently about culture, business and programs, and how those changes have impacted other aspects within the organization.
Most employees thrive where communities and connections are created and fostered. They also manifest in different ways, including by way of corporate culture, special groups (e.g., mentorship or leadership programs, women in business, etc.), or even through internal collaboration tools. When looking to recruit new or referred employees, creating communities externally is critical in communicating your organization's brand, culture, values and reasons why it's a great place to work. Speakers in this track will share how they're creating connections with current employees while developing these same communities with potential employees. They'll walk through how they're using social and digital tactics for recruiting and onboarding; implementing technology solutions to promote employee engagement; and cultivating communities, collaboration, and connections within their organizations.
A business is made of people. The success of the business is built on the productivity, engagement, and happiness of those people. What's more, the work environment has changed, including remote offices, digital interface, and global growth. How have these changes impacted current employees and recruiting new talent, as well as how you grow and reward that talent? Times have changed, and the approach needs to keep pace with an ever-changing workforce and consumer landscape. Speakers in this track will share stories and experiences with compensation, performance management, and career development, and how they're doing things differently and successfully.
Many organizations focus on the data from within their own organization to inform, educate, and guide the decision process. These analytics can be a competitive advantage for an organization if they are looking at the right metrics and measurements. A focus on the numbers can accelerate a business strategy, or validate a program's effectiveness. Data can also help an organization focus more on its people, when that data is delivered methodically and reliably. Presenters in this track will help you understand how they used the right analytics to help their organization learn, make strategic changes, and grow.
The backbone of any organization is its HR data. Being strong here makes everything else stronger, from benefits and payroll programs to shared service centers and self-service portals. In this track, presenters will share stories about how this is important to their organizations.
There is an art and strategy to transforming a business. In this track, you'll hear from companies that have transformed their organizations with HR, and the journey they took along the way, focusing on the "why" of the change. Presenters will go over what they considered when transforming their organization, how their priorities and strategies needed to change, internal expectations, and how job roles may have changed, including strategic engagement with the C-suite or executive leadership. They'll also discuss next steps for continuing their journeys.
