About the Program

Content sessions will be organized into the following 3 tracks:

Reimagine the Back Office
Imagine starting your day with a digital dashboard telling you what critical tasks you needed to prioritize, and a digital team just waiting to help you accomplish those tasks. Review audit risks? There’s a bot for that. Want to know your outstanding approvals? Ask your digital assistant. Need to integrate the financials of a new acquisition? Roll it up with the cloud. A modern, digitized back office gives finance professionals the freedom, insights, and agility they need to accelerate organizational success.

This track is designed to help finance operations professionals reimagine what the modern back office looks like, moving beyond siloed business processes to focus on end-to-end transformational experiences that cross multiple functions, such as improving strategic workforce planning or the indirect procurement process. Sessions will also explore how using an integrated cloud platform uniting finance, HR, supply chain and other operational data can optimize these end-to-end these experiences, and how new technologies such as robotic process automation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence can accelerate new levels of productivity in the modern back office.

Predict the Future
Imagine if you could analyze thousands of what-if scenarios in minutes, rather than days, and predict best and worst case scenarios at the touch of a button. How would your profitability change if you knew the probability of hitting your forecast, and understood the key variables that impact your plan? New advances in statistical forecasting, machine learning, simulation, optimization and more promise to help create new experiences for finance executives tasked with managing risk and profitability, both of which are essential competencies of a modern finance organization.

This track is designed to help corporate FP&A professionals predict the future with greater accuracy, becoming the essential co-pilots to management and line of business executives to deliver better business outcomes in today’s dynamic digital economy. Sessions in this track will explore strategic modeling in the cloud, using simulations to perform rapid what-if analysis using hundreds of variables; predictive forecasting using statistical algorithms; optimization techniques to improve decision making and understand risk/return tradeoffs; and more.

Accelerate Success
Moving your finance operations into the cloud isn’t a matter of if, but when. Perhaps you’ve implemented one or more of Oracle’s cloud solutions for the Office of the CFO, or plan to. How do you prepare a roadmap to move to the cloud, and how do you align with IT to ensure that your implementation is successful? This track focuses on how finance teams can successfully manage the change that comes with a cloud model, with case studies and best practices on how to create your practical roadmap to the cloud, how to leverage the new innovations that come with cloud, and how to build a finance team that is resilient and open to continuous learning. Special sessions will be held on new cloud services provided by Oracle to accelerate customer adoption, success, and value realization.
