Platform providers are investing big in email…
That should give you even greater confidence that your investments in email marketing are smart ones. Recently, Microsoft announced new deliverability requirements, which follows a joint announcement by Google and Yahoo. With the release of iOS 18, Apple rolled out substantial changes to Apple Mail, including adding inbox tabs and AI Summaries. And Google has invested in a variety of new Gmail features, too. While not all of these changes are boons to email marketers, this flurry of investments shows the email channel is still top of mind for some of the largest tech companies on the planet.

Email deliverability has changed radically over the years. Today, it’s driven by 7 factors, plus a host of subfactors.
|
|
Generative AI will save digital marketing programs a significant amount of time in the coming years.
|
|
1) Subject lines need to stand on their own
2) But solid preview text still needed
3) Show contextuality, when it exists
4) AI can help
5) Consider emojis
6) Be voice‑friendly

To reduce abandonment, Outrigger partnered with Oracle Digital Experience Agency to launch a highly effective and award‑winning personalized and multi‑touch program that helped recapture prospective guests’ attention and encouraged them to finalize their bookings.

Say What?
“The core new deliverability requirement announced by Microsoft is around authentication—fully authenticating with SPF and DKIM and having a DMARC policy. As of May 5, they are rejecting and bouncing back mail that is not compliant.”
