Gene Kim is a Wall Street Journal bestselling author, researcher, and multiple award-winning CTO. He has been studying high-performing technology organizations since 1999 and was the founder and CTO of Tripwire for 13 years.

Gene Kim is the author of six books including The Unicorn Project (2019), and co-author of the Shingo Publication Award winning Accelerate, The DevOps Handbook, and The Phoenix Project.

Since 2014, Gene has been the founder and organizer of DevOps Enterprise Summit, studying the technology transformations of large, complex organizations.

Steve Miranda is Executive Vice President of Oracle Applications Product Development. He is responsible for leading all aspects of product strategy, product development, and product delivery of Oracle’s applications and related Cloud services. This includes Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle’s newest products for Customer Service and Support, Commerce, and Talent Management.

Mr. Miranda joined Oracle in 1992, and has held a variety of leadership positions within the development organization. In 2007 he was asked to lead the engineering of Oracle’s next generation suite of software applications, Oracle Fusion Applications. Under Mr. Miranda’s leadership, Oracle has continually delivered on its promise to help its applications customers innovate and remain competitive while leveraging their existing IT investments and increasing the value of those investments with new Oracle products and services.

Prior to Oracle, Mr. Miranda worked at GE Aerospace. He holds degrees in Mathematics and Computational Sciences from Stanford University.

Glenn Beeswanger is responsible for SaaS Engineering at Oracle, accountable for the Operations of our SaaS services globally. This function includes SaaS Security, Compliance, the Oracle Service Centers, Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE), Service Operations, Operations Field Support, and SaaS@Customer.

Glenn’s career traverses Development and Operations, but always in Services, for the past 24 years. He joined Oracle in 2018 coming to us from Salesforce, where he led Infrastructure Programs, including their move to Public Cloud.

At Yahoo, he ran development teams for Search and Media. While at Microsoft, Glenn led Operations for their services, including launching the first Azure Service Center. Before Microsoft, he was Vice President of Operations for eBay & PayPal, and Excite@Home. Glenn started his career in development at IBM Canada.

Glenn’s areas of expertise include leadership, DevSecOps, large scale services, running operations centers and support centers, managing remote operations, process engineering, negotiation, and vendor management as well as trying new startups.

Originally from Toronto Canada, Glenn moved to the Bay Area in 1999, has three children (8, 21, and 23), and now resides in Willow Glen, CA. His wife, Tara leads HR for an autonomous driving startup in the area. He played hockey his entire life up until recently but remains an avid fan. An OPEN ally, Glenn gets involved in all kinds of diversity activities in addition to other volunteer activities.

Srishti Sofat is Group Vice President Development for CX Marketing, Responsys and CrowdTwist. She brings over 20 years of experience building and scaling large scale internet consumer and enterprise software products.

Srishti has been solving interesting problems in Marketing Automation, Personalization, Mobile, Mar-Tech, Enterprise Content Management and Consumer Search to help a global set of customers.

Mr. Shenoy is Group Vice President, Oracle Corporation and globally responsible for Cloud HCM Development and E-Business Suite HCM Development.

In Cloud HCM – he is responsible for Global HR, Talent Mgmt., and Compensation product engineering team. He has worked with Oracle over 20 years in various leadership positions in development organization for HCM product family. Prior to this, he has worked for various Indian IT organizations over 10 years.

Mr. Shenoy holds Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Mysore (India).

Usha Thothathri leads the Product Management and Strategy team for Oracle's SaaS Engineering organization. Usha has been at Oracle for 20+ years, in various design and engineering roles within Product Development and believes that the mantra of "customer first" is critical to delivering a winning SaaS suite.

Recently she has been deeply involved in the DevSecOps initiative to educate and inform the developer community through various programs.

When not working at Oracle, Usha volunteers with non-profits that focus on literacy and education in developing countries.

David Cox joined Oracle in July of 2017 as a transformation architect in the SaaS organization. David enjoys meeting with development and operations teams to help them create their customized plan for DevSecOps enablement.

David has spent over 30 years in the industry developing software and helping transform development teams to adopt newer technologies and methodologies.

In his spare time, David is also a rocket scientist and has launched a rocket 2 miles high (check out his Slack profile!).

Lauren Guidotti joined the DevSecOps transformation team in the SaaS organization in July of 2018. Lauren focuses on working with product teams to identify impacting projects that embody the DevSecOps principles of delivering quality products to our customers faster.

Prior to working at Oracle, Lauren was a part of an SRE team at IBM with the goal of automating incident remediation for the IBM Cloud Platform, was a leader on the transformation of the Change Approval Board, and hosted weekly availability reviews across the IaaS, PaaS and SaaS teams.

When not working, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors with her 3 big dogs: Cody, Molly and Lily.
