Steve Miranda: Steve Miranda is Executive Vice President of Oracle Applications Product Development. He is responsible for leading all aspects of product strategy, product development, and product delivery of Oracle’s applications and related Cloud services. This includes Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle’s newest products for Customer Service and Support, Commerce, and Talent Management.
Mr. Miranda joined Oracle in 1992, and has held a variety of leadership positions within the development organization. In 2007 he was asked to lead the engineering of Oracle’s next generation suite of software applications, Oracle Fusion Applications. Under Mr. Miranda’s leadership, Oracle has continually delivered on its promise to help its applications customers innovate and remain competitive while leveraging their existing IT investments and increasing the value of those investments with new Oracle products and services.
Prior to Oracle, Mr. Miranda worked at GE Aerospace. He holds degrees in Mathematics and Computational Sciences from Stanford University.
Glenn Beeswanger: Glenn Beeswanger is responsible for SaaS Engineering at Oracle, accountable for the Operations of our SaaS services globally. This function includes SaaS Security, Compliance, the Oracle Service Centers, Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE), Service Operations, Operations Field Support, and SaaS@Customer.
Glenn’s career traverses Development and Operations, but always in Services, for the past 24 years. He joined Oracle in 2018 coming to us from Salesforce, where he led Infrastructure Programs, including their move to Public Cloud.
At Yahoo, he ran development teams for Search and Media. While at Microsoft, Glenn led Operations for their services, including launching the first Azure Service Center. Before Microsoft, he was Vice President of Operations for eBay & PayPal, and Excite@Home. Glenn started his career in development at IBM Canada.
Glenn’s areas of expertise include leadership, DevSecOps, large scale services, running operations centers and support centers, managing remote operations, process engineering, negotiation, and vendor management as well as trying new startups.
Originally from Toronto Canada, Glenn moved to the Bay Area in 1999, has three children (8, 21, and 23), and now resides in Willow Glen, CA. His wife, Tara leads HR for an autonomous driving startup in the area. He played hockey his entire life up until recently but remains an avid fan. An OPEN ally, Glenn gets involved in all kinds of diversity activities in addition to other volunteer activities.
